Webinar on application procedure for smoke flavourings

Summary

The purpose of the sixth webinar in this series was to explain the new requirements introduced by the Transparency Regulation in the context of smoke flavouring primary products applications.

The webinar focused on the areas impacted by the new requirements and tools in the lifecycle of an application. The speakers went through the application process from account creation to adoption and publication of the output. There was also a live demonstration of the E-Submission Food Chain Platform (ESFC) and an explanation of how confidentiality procedures are applied in the area of smoke flavouring primary products.

There were 71 participants representing small and medium-sized enterprises, laboratories/testing facilities, business operators, and other stakeholders involved in the application process.

The webinar ended with a live Q&A session, during which contributors and speakers addressed some of the most frequently asked questions submitted by applicants in recent months.
