Webinar on food contact materials

The objective of the fifth webinar in this series was to explain the new requirements introduced by the Transparency Regulation in the context of food contact materials.

The webinar focused on the areas impacted by the new requirements and tools in the life cycle of an application.

The presenters provided insights on each step of the process, from account creation to adoption and publication. There was also a live demonstration of the E-Submission Food Chain Platform (ESFC) and an explanation of how confidentiality procedures are applied in the area of food contact materials.

About 150 participants attended from small and medium-sized enterprises, laboratories/testing facilities, business operators and other stakeholders involved in the application process.

The webinar ended with a live Q&A session, during which contributors and speakers answered, orally or in writing, questions submitted by participants.
